Terms and Conditions - Tickets

These terms and conditions were last revised on 01/12/24 and apply to all bookings made after this date.

  1. When purchasing tickets, you must provide the correct name and billing address for the selected payment method.  If these details are not correct, we reserve the right to stop processing your ticket purchase.

  2. Tickets are valid only for the date and time stated.  Please therefore check your e-tickets carefully upon receipt.  If you believe a mistake has been made, you must notify us by e-mailing boxoffice@mdproductions.org.uk as soon as possible, and in any event within 24 hours of your ticket purchase.  Your e-mail should set out full details of the error you believe has occurred and include all relevant information and/or documentation available to enable us to review and, if relevant, investigate the matter.

  3. Tickets cannot be refunded once purchased except where a performance has been cancelled or abandoned when less than half the performance has taken place, in which case a full refund to the face value of the ticket will be provided.  Tickets purchased (i) by telephone via our Box Office will be subject to a £2.50 handling fee per transaction, and (ii) through our website or that of our ticketing partner using our online Ticket Shop will be subject to a £1.50 handling fee per transaction.  These handling fees are non-refundable even where a performance has been cancelled or abandoned as outlined above.

  4. Tickets may, at our sole discretion, be exchanged for tickets of equivalent value for another performance in the run.  If tickets are re-sold or transferred for profit or commercial gain, other than via Box Office, they will become void and the ticket holder may be refused entry to, or ejected from, the venue.

  5. Admission to the venue is at your own risk.  We reserve the right to refuse admission to the auditorium and to request patrons leave the venue if they disrupt or pose a risk to other audience members.

  6. If you are collecting tickets from our Box Office prior to the performance you must bring with you the credit or debit card used for the ticket purchase together with the booking confirmation e-mail or the booking reference number.

  7. If you have purchased a concession ticket, we reserve the right to ask for proof of eligibility, such as a college/university issued identity card, evidence of receipt of the State Pension or unemployment benefits, NHS identity card, etc on entry to the venue.  If you are unable to provide proof of eligibility, we reserve the right to refuse admittance to the auditorium until such time as you pay the difference in value between the concession ticket and the equivalent full price ticket is made.

  8. Any concerns or complaints regarding your seat or ability to view the production should be made promptly to the Box Office team either before or during the performance.

  9. In exceptional circumstances, we reserve the right to provide an alternative seat to that specified on your ticket.

  10. There is no late admission into the auditorium.  Please therefore ensure that you arrive in good time.  We reserve the right to require latecomers to wait until a suitable break in the performance to be admitted into the auditorium.  No refunds or exchanges will be offered to latecomers.

  11. There is also no re-admission to the auditorium whilst the performance is in progress.  If you leave the auditorium for any reason during the show, you will be unable to return to your seat until a suitable break in the performance, at the discretion of the Box Office team.

  12. Mathew Dickinson Productions shall have no liability for any additional costs incurred by you as purchaser, the ticket holder (if different), or their associates (i) due to late attendance after the performance’s published start time, (ii) where a performance has been cancelled or abandoned, or (iii) where admission to the auditorium and/or entry to the venue has been refused.  Travel, accommodation, meals and all other ancillary products are purchased solely at your risk as the purchaser or that of the ticket holder (if different) and are not deemed to be connected to the event ticket or the ticket supplier.

  13. All mobile phones, electronic devices and watches must be silenced before entering the auditorium.  There is strictly no photography or recording of any kind permitted in the auditorium.

  14. Please note that you may be photographed or filmed during the performance as a member of the audience.  You consent to resulting materials being used by Mathew Dickinson Productions without payment, and waive absolutely and irrevocably any  intellectual property rights arising.
